The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame (NDCHF) will honor in its Hall of Honorees, Rodeo Division, individuals who, through their participation in America's only original sport, have distinguished and brought honor to themselves and the sport of rodeo.
Nominees will be individuals recognized for their achievement and competitive participation in; and, of rodeo and rodeo events. Recognition can be achieved through high school, college, state, and professional rodeo associations. Nominees must be at least 50 years of age or deceased and must have upheld the traditions of the western lifestyle in an honorable manner. The NDCHF Board of Directors will establish a specified number of Rodeo Division nominees which will include a pre-identified quantity selected as Pre-1940s Rodeo and Modern-Era Rodeo.
