The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame (NDCHF) will honor in its Hall of Honorees, Ranching Division, individuals and ranches that were; or, are instrumental in creating and developing the ranching business, traditions, and lifestyles of North Dakota's western heritage and livestock industry.
Nominees must be individuals, specific ranches, or ranch operations that have made significant contributions to the development and promotion of the livestock industry, ranching, or western lifestyle. Nominees must be at least 50 years of age or deceased. Ranches or ranch operations must have been in operation for at least 50 years. The NDCHF Board of Directors will establish a specified number of Ranching Division nominees which will include a pre-identified quantity selected as Pre-1940s Rancher, Modern-Era Rancher, and Ranch.
